This fest is a celebration of the weird and wonderful music makers that can be found in the northeast corridor. While there is a heavy emphasis on psych of all kinds(psych: folk, pop, metal, etc.) that is not all that this fest has to offer. There are droners(Double Awake, Infinity Window, Keith F. whitman), unidentified weirdos(Fat Worm of Error, Exusamwa, Blues Control, Peace, Loving), new fangled electro psychsters(Many Mansions, Truman Peyote), and plenty of other psych related freaks(everyone else).

What this event is saying is that, despite appearances, and prevailing perceptions Boston is still fucking weird, and it’s getting weirder by the moment. These 32 bands represent a very exciting cross section of what Boston and New England and the northeast in general have to offer in the way of far out music makers.

If all goes well this could become a bi-annual event.
Pray to the Psych Gods.
